About
Tasmania's Biggest Job is a campaign run by the Tasmanian Early Years Foundation. The campaign was set up in response to the strong body of evidence and increasing acknowledgement that the early years are a crucial stage of human development and that early childhood experiences set the stage for later development, learning and wellbeing.
By providing the latest information, links to services and real-world stories from Tasmanian parents and caregivers, the campaign aims to:
- Show the early years as a key stage of growth and learning that profoundly affects a child's long-term development.
- Increase awareness of the support services available to parents and children.
- Encourage parents and caregivers to reach out for support if they need to.
- Create a more positive attitude towards children in the community.
- Show people who do not have children how they can play a role.
