Tasmania's Biggest Job

What is "Tasmania's Biggest Job"?

Everyone knows that children are little wonders: bright-eyed and full of life.

They are the ones who will grow-up to be the leaders, scientists, athletes and artists of tomorrow – they are Tasmania's future. We need to make sure Tasmanian children get the best start in life by spending lots of time with them, keeping them safe and helping them reach their potential as they grow. Raising children is a big job. In fact, it's Tasmania’s Biggest Job, and everyone can lend a helping hand.

It all starts with what happens to children during the early years. This is the stage of life from birth to age six. Although parents and caregivers play the starring role, it's not just down to them.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, uncle, friend, a neighbour or a local business – this site will show you how you can lend a helping hand to the people that have Tasmania's Biggest Job.
